Our KICK START Workshops are designed to support pupils making that difficult but exciting move from primary school to secondary school. The two workshops are stand alone but are typically booked together. They are designed to ease the move by equipping students with essential skills and knowledge to navigate their new educational environment confidently.
The workshops cover areas such as effective study habits, organisational skills, and social integration techniques. Through a series of interactive sessions and practical workshops pupils will learn how to manage increased academic expectations, establish positive relationships with peers and teachers, and develop an essential growth mindset. By the end of the course, students will feel more prepared and empowered to embrace the challenges and opportunities of secondary school life.
For schools that book both workshops, KICK START CHANGE is typically delivered in the 1st term, and 'KICK START STUDY' in the 2nd term.
