Consolidating The Classroom Assistant Role

Further enabling classroom assistants to support students to develop as independent and self-regulated learners.

As with all training, there is always the need to continue to further understand and develop in order to refresh, rejuvenate and improve practice. This ensures that classroom assistants are constantly reflecting on and building effectiveness in their role.

This course offers the chance to explore advanced strategies and knowledge that will further enhance classroom assistants' ability to support students in becoming more metacognitive, fostering their independent learning and self-regulation skills.

This course is suitable for CAs who received our ‘Getting to Grips with the Classroom Assistant Role’ training and for CAs who are looking an introduction to metacognition strategies.
