Empowering Classroom Assistants To Support Literacy (Introduction Course)

Strategies and methods to help students with vocabulary, reading for meaning and understand.

Classroom assistants are one of the most valuable resources schools have in order to promote and improve Literacy levels as they are instrumental in providing interventions, boosting the confidence of students and enabling students to access their learning.

As a result of this, it is vital that they are provided with the training and confidence to fulfil the demands of their changing and expanding role.

This course provides strategies and information to support CAs to:

  • Help students with – and promote the importance of – vocabulary.
  • Enable students to read for meaning and understanding.
  • Aid students with Literacy difficulties.
